One of our third party providers has advised that they need to perform a network maintenance at Telehouse North.
Maintenance is scheduled to start at: 20:00 BST, Wednesday 30th May 2018 and end at: 04:00, Thursday 31st of May 2018
Expected Impact: None (Service at-risk)
Our services between Maidstone, Byfleet and Gatwick are redundant, so this maintenance status is at risk for its duration and we do not expect service to be interrupted.
This maintenance has been scheduled under our ticket number 227475.
As part of our maintenance schedule, equipment Manufacturer Riello will perform an extended overhaul maintenance on one of our Data Floor 1 UPS’s. Riello will be completing the maintenance for us between 8 am and 6 pm BST on the 22nd June.
This will take this UPS off-line for six hours. During this time, the Engineers will be replacing Capacitors and Fans within the unit to ensure continued stable operation.
While this UPS is being serviced, it will be placed into external maintenance bypass; there is no interruption when this happens. Before the service commences, the incoming mains supply will first be switched to our generator farm, to further mitigate the risk of a grid failure while the UPS is offline.
Although minimal, customers should consider one of their power feeds to be ‘at-risk’ during the period detailed above. Customers with diverse power supplies will only have one feed at risk at any given time, diverse feeds at our facility come from different ATS+UPS chains and are totally independent.
